About
The park takes its name from Mbah Bungkul, a revered local figure whose grave lies behind it. In 2013 it won the Asian Townscape Award for blending religious, social, economic and sporting life. Entry is free and it never closes, but the cool early morning is the nicest time for a stroll under the trees.
