About
President Sukarno unveiled the monument on 10 November 1952, on the site of a colonial courthouse that the Japanese military police later used. Below ground, Museum Sepuluh Nopember tells the story of the battle through photos, captured weapons and dioramas. Come early on a weekday to beat the heat, and expect big crowds and ceremonies around 10 November.
