Rungkut is the second of the city's two main library locations, set in a residential neighbourhood in east Surabaya. It suits families: the reading room is stocked with storybooks and educational titles, and staff run storytelling with dolls and book reviews. It is closed on Sundays, so plan a weekday or Saturday visit.
