About
Bu Rudy began by grinding leftover fishing-bait shrimp into sambal, and her garlic chilli paste became one of Surabaya's best-known souvenirs. At the depot, order nasi campur or nasi udang with crispy fried baby shrimp, empal beef and serundeng. Buy sambal bawang or sambal ijo at the counter before you leave.
