About
It was built in 1907 as the Simpangsche Societeit, a club for the Dutch elite that kept Indonesians out, and after independence it became a centre for youth, education and the arts. Today the complex hosts exhibitions and events, an open plaza with a food court and the Surabaya Tourism Information Center. The city's SSCT sightseeing bus also departs from here.
