About
The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption replaced Batavia's first Catholic church of 1829 and was consecrated in 1901 in neo-Gothic style. Its spires and the Istiqlal dome across the street make one of Jakarta's best-known pairings. Visit outside mass times and combine it with Lapangan Banteng next door.
