You won't spot it from the road: Rawon Saminah sits deep inside the city's main market and has drawn queues since 1957. Order nasi rawon or nasi sambelan and add empal, sate komoh or other beef cuts on the side. It serves breakfast only, from 07.00 to about 10.00, and closes on Fridays, so come early.
