About
Manggarai sits where lines fan out toward Jakarta Kota, Tanah Abang, Jatinegara and Bogor, so many KRL riders change trains here; it is also where the Soekarno–Hatta airport train starts. LRT Jakarta's Manggarai station, about 300 m to the west, has served the new Velodrome–Manggarai section since its September 2026 trial opening. No long-distance trains stop here, and the 1918 station building is a listed heritage site.
