About
Candi Dermo is not a shrine but a paduraksa gate, a passage with a joined roof, opening to the west and east among village houses. Nobody knows who built it, but its East Javanese style points to the 14th century. Restoration began in 2015 and finished in December 2020, and the site is open to the public.
