About
Tanah Lot is one of the seven sea temples on the southwest coast and is credited to the 16th-century priest Dang Hyang Nirartha. The temple itself is for worshippers, but the grounds hold an art market, restaurants and the nightly Kecak Api dance at 18.15 (Rp100k). A ticket rise planned for April 2026 was postponed, so prices are unchanged; the best light is 17.00–18.30, when crowds peak too.
