About
Gringsing is the signature cloth of Tenganan Pegringsingan, and even the smallest piece takes about a week of spinning, dyeing and weaving; larger ones take a month. Prices rose about 50% in 2026: around Rp3.5 juta for 130 × 23 cm, Rp7 juta for 40 × 160 cm and up to Rp16 juta for 160 × 60 cm. Weavers now sell four to six pieces a day, mostly to buyers from Bangli and Gianyar, so buy directly from them.
