About
The temple is dated to the 16th or 17th century, when Pasuruan already had a large Chinese community; Kwan Kong (Guan Yu) is one of its main deities and Kwan Im has an altar in the main hall. Look for the stone lions, the pagoda-shaped incense burner and the small stage used for a yearly potehi glove-puppet show. It is an active temple, busiest around Chinese New Year, and the Bipang Jangkar shop is on the same street.
