The Rawon Nguling name comes from a 1940s warung in Nguling, Pasuruan, and this branch near the Alun-alun is one of the city's best-known places for rawon. The dark broth comes with thick beef, bean sprouts, sambal and a salted egg, and the menu also has nasi pecel and urap. It closes mid-afternoon, so treat it as a breakfast or lunch stop.
